When you hire equipment from Idro Power, it remains our property. However, consumables like hoses, lances, and detergents are purchased by the customer. Our contracts are customised for each client to ensure a perfect fit for your business needs. We cover all maintenance and servicing costs due to wear and tear. Should any issues arise, we’ll handle them swiftly so your operations aren’t disrupted.

Our on-site call-out service involves our team coming to your location to efficiently repair or service your pressure washer.

To support our call-out service, we maintain three fully equipped service vans. These vans are strategically stocked with parts, tools, and troubleshooting equipment required for common repairs, ensuring our technicians can efficiently address issues on-site.

Our service vans boast a sufficient payload capacity and a convenient loading ramp, facilitating the secure transportation of cleaning equipment. While primarily utilised for delivery, installation, and on-site repairs, these features also enable our engineers to transport equipment back to our workshop in the rare event that on-site repair is not possible.

Response Time

At Idro Power Cleaning Equipment, we focus on being transparent, efficient, and ensuring customer satisfaction in our response procedures for your high-pressure cleaning equipment needs. In emergencies, we aim to respond quickly, ideally on the same day.

Urgent Response Time

Our average response time for emergencies is below 8-hours. However, our goal is to address any emergency call-out within 36 hours or sooner. In exceptionally busy periods, the response time may extend to up to 48-72 hours, but such instances are rare.

Non-urgent Response Time

For non-urgent repairs and services, we typically schedule call-outs further in advance. While we can often respond to non-urgent calls on the same or next working day, they can also be conveniently booked to fit the customer’s schedule. This approach provides flexibility and convenience for our clients. It also helps us plan the locations and routes of our service vans for greater efficiency, so we are appreciative of our customers’ flexibility and transparency too.

Operating Hours

Our dedicated team operates during the following hours:

  • Monday to Thursday: 8 am to 5 pm
  • Friday: 8 am to 4:30 pm
  • Saturday: 8 am to 12 pm

(We occasionally extend these hours to meet busy periods or emergency call outs.)

Professional installation is a requirement for static pressure washers. Depending on location, the complexity of installation (see bespoke/modification service), and if a machine is brought new or taken on a long-term hire contract, we regularly offer this service free of charge.

Demonstration (all cleaning equipment)
For all purchased and hired machines (mobile, static, small and large!), we offer basic “safe-use” and “good-practice” demonstrations. Albeit straightforward, our pressure washers are powerful pieces of equipment. We want to make sure you’re comfortable with your new machine and able to use it safely and effectively. Sherlock Holmes once said: “you can never foretell what any one man will do, but you can, with precision, say what an average man will do.” Cleaning equipment, while having specialities, are typically designed for utility. In other words, like many products, they are designed for the average cleaning problems that most people need solving. For example, general categories of hot, cold, electric, oil, mobile and static (etc.) pressure washers, which provide pros and cons, are designed and manufactured in response to the most prevalent cleaning tasks. For the most part, this is more than enough. If a machine can reach what it needs to clean, has the power and heat to deal with the mess, it will deal with it accordingly. However, solving the average does not solve the specific, and we have seen a rise in demand for our bespoke builds, installations and modification services.

With the service being bespoke, it would be impossible to list all the different possibilities we could cater for as part of this service. Nevertheless, some things we can and have done include the fitting of upgraded components, hose reels, remote controls and dual gun systems.

In addition to selling new, we also sell reconditioned cleaning products that have been owned or on hire previously. As part of the reconditioning process, we service, replace and test the components of these machines to make sure they will have the reliability we (and you!) except for all the cleaning equipment that leaves our workshop.

A cost-effective solution, the age of these types of cleaners can vary. Sometimes they might be a few years old or as little as a few months! You could, therefore, not only get one that is “as good as new” but is new. We are always transparent regarding age. The pricing of such machines is cheaper to reflect their second-hand status and are a combination of model and age.

If your pressure washer or steam cleaner needs repairing, we’re here to help. We offer a comprehensive repair service, with the option to drop your machine off at our workshop or request a call-out service.

Our experienced technicians will diagnose and fix a wide range of pressure washer issues, aiming to get to you within 24 hours of your call (emergency call out). While we aim to respond on the same day, during busy periods, it may take us 36-48 hours to get to you. We appreciate your patience during these times.

When it comes to call outs, our engineers will generally try to carry out all repairs on-site. However, in some situations they may need to bring the pressure washer back to our workshop. The reasons for this are generally one of the following:

  • The repair requires equipment that the engineer does not have on their van.
  • There is not a suitable location to carry out the repair on-site.

We understand that a broken pressure washer can be a major inconvenience, so we strive to provide a fast and efficient service that gets your machine back up and running in no time. Trust us to take care of your repairs and get your pressure washer back to peak performance.

In the event that a repair could take some time, we do offer a short term hire service. Generally, the only time repairs take time is if we need to source specific or specialist parts that we do not have in stock. Short Term Hire

Our short-term hire service is perfect for businesses and individuals who need a pressure washer for a short period of time. Our long-term hire service is designed for businesses that require a pressure washer on a long-term basis. We offer the option to hire any of our range of pressure washers as a brand-new machine on a contract that typically lasts for three years. As part of this contract, we will service and repair the machine as required, ensuring it remains in perfect working order throughout the contract period. This means that our clients can rest assured that their equipment will always be running smoothly and efficiently, maximizing their productivity, and minimizing downtime.

Our monthly fixed sum includes all servicing and repairs required during the contract period if they are not caused by misuse. Our team of experienced service technicians will carry out all necessary servicing and repairs at a time that suits you, to minimise any disruption to your business. Our engineers also have resources and equipment to carry out many on-site repairs and services, assuming a suitable location can be provided. However, sometimes they may need to bring the pressure washer(s) to our workshop.

The sum and details of contracts and contract fees is worked out on an individual basis. The price is generally reflective of the price of the pressure washer(s) and equipment that is/are being hired.
