Designed to be wall-mounted, the Ehrle KS823 is a compact and enclosed cold water pressure washer. Powered by a 230V mains supply, the KS823 can produce between 30-120BAR of pressure at a flow rate of 5-12LPM. Adjustable with one control, the user can control the pressure and flow rate as desired. Reducing pressure and flow rate means that the user can use the washer to clean a greater range of items, including those that might not stand up to full, high-pressure cleaning.
Ehrle has designed the KS823 with internal parts capable of working with water up to 80°C. Therefore, it is possible for the KS823 to perform warm and hot water cleaning, so long as you can provide an ample hot water supply that can keep up with the KS823’s water demands.
Like with many things, adding heat improves efficiency, and the same is true of cleaning. If you are able to warm something up it will clean easier. The KS823, therefore, can be a versatile option offering high-powered cleaning of cold and hot nature.
Pressure washers, especially hot washes, can be chunky monkeys, taking up valuable space. The beauty of the KS823 is not only its compact build but its wall-mounted design. Due to this design, it can be neatly mounted off the ground, freeing up floor space. Moreover, this floor space beneath, and other parts of the wall nearby, can be used to stow away and fix other parts of your pressure washer. For example, we can fit lance and gun holders beneath, beside or above your KS823. Similarly, we could fit a hose reel too, keeping everything you need neatly stored and in one place.
The KS823 also sports high-pressure chemical cleaning, with user control. What this means is that you can increase, decrease or halt the application of detergents while cleaning at high pressures. The advantage of this is simplicity, efficiency and control.
Chemical jetting is simple and efficient as it saves the need to switch lances, as it is simple to turn on and off. Moreover, you can keep cleaning under pressure. Those machines that require low-pressure chemical application lose their cleaning potential, meaning you have to add a chemical application phase to your cleaning process. A high-pressure metring option, such as that in the KS823, therefore, can help simplify and speed up your cleaning work.
Control comes in the form of being able to metre the amount of detergent that is injected into the system. For some companies and industries, there are specifications on detergent and cleaning requirements. Therefore, being able to meet these requirements, but do so with minimal waste or excess can help keep detergent costs to a minimum. The KS823 has full chemical dosing control, meaning the user can tweak the amount of detergent required so that it is a perfect balance.
The KS823 comes with several systems that help improve its safety and reliability, such as the start-stop, total-stop and leakage recognition systems.
The start-stop system is a reliability-increasing system. Effectively turning your trigger gun into a remote control, the start-stop system switches your pressure washer on and off as you press or release the trigger. The benefit of this is reduced wear. Rather than running continuously, the pressure washer pauses each time you stop, reducing its usage time. Time, usage and wear can add up if you use your pressure washer a lot.
The total-stop system is primarily a safety system. The total-stop system will turn your machine off, requiring a manual restart, after 20-minutes of disuse.
The leakage-recognition system, linked to the total stop system, is an additional level of safety that can also dramatically increase reliability. The leakage-recognition system essentially turns your pressure washer off when a fault is detected in the system. As frustrating as this might be for the user, the benefit lies in both the safety and damage limitation it provides. The KS823 is a powerful pressure washer. If a fault occurs, then a system that does not have a leakage-recognition system will continue to run, creating more costly damage and risk to the user.
To simplify manufacturing and maintenance, reaching toward uniform high quality and reliability, Ehrle uses consistent materials and designs in all of their pumps. The KS823 is no exception, featuring Ehrle’s prized Triplex Piston Pump design. Boasting a ceramic piston, brass pump head and stainless steel valves, the KS, KD, HD and HSC all use the same materials. The only difference is the size, depending on the power needs and constraints of each pressure washer.
The benefit this has for you is not only a reliable, well-designed and manufactured pump, but it means replacement parts and repairs are easier and more cost-effective to perform. We like working with Ehrle as we are able to stock and get parts and equipment quickly. This, in turn, allows us to provide the high level and speed of service that our customers have experienced and come to expect of us over the years.
