Description

Single-phase (230V) - Cold Water - Mobile

Powerfully Pragmatic

The Ehrle KD823 is a high performance, cold water pressure washer that combines power and practicality. Sporting a 230V, mains supply the KD823 still kicks out a fully user-controllable 30 - 140 BAR of pressure and 5 - 12 LPM of water flow. Where single-phase jet washers frequently need to strike a middle ground or emphasise either pressure or flow rate (typically the latter), the KD823 makes no compromises offering strong performance in both areas.

One-stop-shop

Extending its practical qualities further, the KD823 has holders for most of its peripheral accessories. For example, the moulded bodywork and handle-holders mean two lances and guns can be stored on top of the machine while the power cable has a dedicated holder on its back. The premium model also boasts a hose-reel, for tidy hose storage and easy ravelling and unravelling.

Both types of KD823, standard and premium, also have moulded, integrated storage tanks. (The grey coloured bodywork around the back and sides of the pressure washer.) These are intended to reduce the need for transporting additional cleaning tubs between spaces. For example, the premium model’s tank is dedicated to water (17L) while the standard tank is set up for chemicals (15L). (Find out more about this setup below in Standard vs Premium, what’s the difference.*) That’s one less tank to worry about moving!

Not just mobile. Agile.

Using larger, solid rubber wheels, as opposed to castors, the KD823 can not only overcome small stones but can manage rougher, looser terrains too! Moreover, the chassis design and handle are both rigid and robust, which makes pushing and pulling your KD823, to where you need it, trouble-free.

*Standard vs Premium, what’s the difference?

A significant difference between standard and premium KDs is the function of their integrated storage tank. On the standard model, for instance, the tank is intended for chemical/detergent. However, on the premium model, it is intended as a water break tank. Therefore, the number of external tanks required is reduced.

These subtle differences between tank types facilitate different capabilities. For example, the premium KD823, while requiring an external detergent tank, supports fully user-controllable chemical dosing at high pressures. In other words, you can not only apply chemicals at high and various pressures, but you can control just how much detergent you apply in cleaning.

The standard model, on the other hand, does not require a chemical tank to be transported with it. Instead, it stores the chemical in its integrated detergent tank. However, neither dosing nor high-pressure chemical application are available on the standard model.

The other differences between standard and premium models are peripheral, with the premium specification coming with several handy extras (see comparison table below).
